LITTLE NINJAS (3 & 4 Y.O.)

Preschoolers Love Little Ninjas!

Our specialized Little Ninja’s program is an age-specific curriculum that is professionally designed to teach children important life skills in a fun, exciting, and enriching manner. Out secret to teaching your child coordination, concentration and self-control is a unique method we like to call “Edu-tainment”. This uses the excitement and fun of the Little Ninja martial arts skills to teach key life lessons you would want your
child to know.

Your Child Will Achieve More Than Just Learning to Kick and Punch

It’s true that Little Ninja activities will keep your child physically fit and that many of the group activities show children the benefits of good behavior. At the end of each class, the students who can demonstrate the skills covered in that day’s class receives a special skill stripe. The skill stripes are an achievement reward and work as an incentive for your child. Once your child has earned all 8 of the life skill stripes, they will move up to the next belt level. This helps your child see the benefit in trying their best.

Our Age Specific Children’s Martial Arts Programs are specifically designed to help your child to succeed in life. We do this by incorporating “Life Skills “ lessons into every class.

EMA is a BLACK BELT ACADEMY! Our goal is for every student to become a BLACK BELT. By working toward this goal, our students develop a great deal of confidence through high but realistic and attainable goals. We also take great pride in teaching the importance of hard work and persistence in order to earn their rank through belt testing. We are not a ”belt factory” type of school. This means that our students are not “just given” a belt without earning it. This helps the student to understand that they need to work hard to achieve their goals in order to succeed in all aspects of their life.

EMA’S Children’s Martial Arts Programs

The Foundation of our Age Specific Children’s Martial Arts Programs is similar to our Adult Martial Arts Programs. The Children will learn Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts ,Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Kickboxing. Our students will learn to defend themselves in all situations. Most importantly, our students learn conflict avoidance, non– violent conflict resolution and verbal de-escalation. We teach that self defense means much more than just physically defending oneself.

Junior Dragons for 5-7 year olds

EMA’S Junior Dragons Martial Arts Programs introduce the student to the fundamental physical and mental skills of Martial Arts training.

Each class begins with a physical warm-up that makes exercise fun for our students. We incorporate an exciting blend of aerobic activity, stretching, pushups and sit-ups into the warm-up. The children are taught the importance of a strong and healthy body, mind and spirit. Throughout the rest of the class the students learn to develop their Martial Arts skills by practicing what we refer to as “ drills to build skills”. Our “drills to build skills” are Martial Arts learning activities and games in which the students have the opportunity to practice their Martial Arts skills and techniques in a safe, fun and exciting manner. EMA students are also taught to always keep their hands and feet to themselves and that we never practice our Martial Arts skills on anyone.

Our reward system for our students helps to build each child’s confidence and gives them a sense of accomplishment. We incorporate the use of reward stickers and colored stripes on the students belts to acknowledge their efforts and achievements in class.

At EMA, we respect each child as an individual. Each child is our priority and we make it our duty to facilitate beneficial “Life Skills” so that our students can reach their maximum potential to be happy and succeed in life.

Junior’s Program for 8-12 year olds

EMA’S Junior’s Martial Arts Programs take a more Martial Arts curriculum based approach to learning self defense and the aforementioned “Life Skills.”

These classes focus on personal responsibility, academic achievement, the importance of goal setting and achievement, as well as, what we call “CAN I” , which stands for Constant And Never-ending Improvement. We teach the children to strive to make constant improvements in every area of their lives. Whether at school, home ,in extra curricular activities such as sports or clubs or at our Martial Arts Academy, the children learn to be the best that they can possibly be. Children who feel a sense of accomplishment are far less likely to succumb to peer pressure. Confident children are more likely to become leaders in life , not followers. We know that helping children to be their best in their early years will help them to be respectful, successful and happy throughout their lives.

At EMA we strive to provide the absolute best Martial Arts education for children of all ages. Our goal is to build a strong community through our Martial Arts programs by enhancing and enriching the lives of our students and their families.
